BBB AT BIKEMOTION

Last weekend thousands of people found their way to the BikeMotion Benelux bicycle show in Utrecht. BBB was present with a beautiful booth that you could not miss. During the four days of the show a lot of people visited our booth. Also the amount of people at the ‘BBB Happy Hour’, a yearly traditional party was satisfying. The BikeMotion again was a great success for BBB.

BBB ABROAD

BBB products can be found all over the world in 38 countries. To give you an idea of what is going on in other countries we present BBB shops in different countries. This time is ‘Bjoorns Cykel’ from Sweden. Bjoorns Cykel is a beautiful shop that is founded a long time ago by the father of the current owner. There are plans to expand the shop to create better routing in the shop. As a result of that they hope to realize more impulse purchases. The BBB displays, 3 metres in total, are always orderly filled with BBB products.

BBB PRODUCTS IN THE MEDIA

This month, Belgian magazine ‘Vlaamse Wielrijder & Biker’ pays attention to to the BBB UltraWear and RaceFlex overshoes in their ‘Shopping’ pages.

“In 2009 BBB comes with new and better overshoes – the UltraWear and RaceFlex. The UltraWear is designed to protect you against cold and wet conditions and strong due to the Kevlar reinforcements on the overshoes heel and nose. In the “Ladies corner’, some positive comments on the BBB GirlTech Shorts (BBW112): “Beautifully cut stretch material in the front – lowered in the belly section – very comfortable - feels like a second skin. Feels incredibly soft. Perfect padding with no irritating seams. A lot of value for money. Weight 125 grams (without straps).”

BBB @ FORUM

Every week we show you discussions we've found on bicycle forums. What customers think about, especially BBB, products, is something we use for future developments. This time on the website mountainbike.be a discussion about tool cases. A visitor of the forum is wondering if the case that he would like to buy is good enough. Some reactions:

• “I started eight years ago with a case like this. Good to start with. Meanwhile I expanded my tool case with BBB tools.”
• “Most of the materials that I’m using especially for my bike is from BBB. Just a case is not enough.”
• “A little more expensive alternative for this case is one of BBB, that’s a little bit stronger and better-looking material.”

BBB ATHLETES IN THE MEDIA

• Olympic and World champion on the track, Geraint Thomas, again gained a golden medal with British team. The Team Barloworld rider won the team pursuit together with his team mates at the World Cup races in Manchester.
• Iljo Keisse was also very successful at the World Cup in Manchester. He finished third at the point’s race. With his team mate Kenny De Ketele he finished second on the Madison.
• Fidea Cyclingteam rider Bart Wellens finished just next to the podium twice. In Veghel and at the difficult ‘Koppenberg’ cross he finished fifth.
